This painting began in a moment I thought would break me. I was crying—soul-deep, full-bodied tears. But when I looked at myself, I saw beauty. Not the curated kind, but the kind born of pain, resilience, and raw spirit. So I painted her. Me. The Divine.
In this world of stardust and symbols, I exist in shades of blue. My tears are sacred. My eyes, brown and glistening, hold galaxies of truth. I am framed in sacred geometry—intersecting triangles, representing divine order and the Holy Trinity. My rose quartz necklace is draped over my hand, and perched is a blue hummingbird with butterfly wings—softly kissed by mauve's and purples.
As above, so below—Sun and Moon. Yin and Yang. Not black and white, but lush green and full of life. Symbols of balance. Of wholeness. Of me. Outside the triangle floats King Jupiter, and below: a pupil-less eye, watching from above clouds that swirl like sacred candy. Around it all is a black expanse dotted with over-sized stars—because grief feels like floating, but also like returning to the infinite.
