Gemini was born from a vivid nightmare where a seemingly vicious male gorilla, full of aggression and dominance, turned out to be my protector. After fighting off a larger predator that threatened me, we shared a silent understanding. This piece is my way of honoring the complexity of strength—the kind that doesn’t always look soft, but is rooted in love.

The two gorillas represent duality: aggression and peace, perception and truth. Maybe it’s a male and female. Maybe it’s one being embodying both masculine and feminine energy. Either way, Gemini is about how easily we misread what we don’t understand, and how even chaos can be an act of care.
