Living By Lunar Light

Living By Lunar Light

The Why:

For me, Living by Lunar Light started as a theory. However, based on my research and personal experience, I can confidently vouch for its credibility. I welcome this wisdom into my life, and I invite you to experiment with the information I’m sharing.

The purpose of this post is to explore manifesting with the Moon. While each Lunar phase has its unique energy, the cycle can be broken into four main phases: the New Moon, First Quarter, Full Moon, and Last Quarter. The Moon transitions between these main phases approximately every seven days, which means the smaller shifts between each phase happen roughly every 3.5 days. May we all be blessed and enriched on this Journey to Becoming.

Phase One: New Moon

The New Moon represents the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. It’s the perfect time to plant seeds for what we want to create, with intention and clarity.

Phase Two: Waxing Crescent

The Waxing Crescent Moon signifies a time to set the foundation of our lives through intentional effort and faithful expectation. This is when we nurture the seeds we planted and give them our energy.

Phase Three: First Quarter Moon

The First Quarter Moon is the point where our faith and commitment are tested. Be diligent! The seeds from the New Moon are sprouting, but they aren’t quite ready to stand on their own.

Phase Four: Waxing Gibbous Moon

The Waxing Gibbous phase is a time of completion and reciprocity. The seeds planted during the New Moon are now rooted and moving toward fruition. Which direction they take depends entirely on our decisions and intentional action.

Phase Five: Full Moon

The Full Moon urges us to transition into the next phase. It’s time to release what we’ve completed with love and gratitude. Allow the wisdom we’ve gained to transform who we are. Remember, evolution is continuous.

Phase Six: Waning Gibbous

Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude! Give thanks. Be open, patient, and extend grace and understanding to yourself and others. This is also a great time to see things from another perspective and to slow down the momentum of your actions.

Phase Seven: Third/Last Quarter Moon

This is a time for reflection and quiet inner work. Prepare for your next steps without yet taking action toward them. Focus on clarity and alignment.

Phase Eight: Waning Crescent

Finally, it’s time to rest and relax. More importantly, this is a phase for finding peace with the things we cannot change. Embody the energy of acceptance and let yourself recharge fully.

Love,
